            Trout Fish is found abundantly in almost all the streams and rivers of all village of Gilgit-Batistan particulary in District Ghizer. However its tourist potential by offering fishing packages has not been exploited so far. It is unique attraction for the tourists. Ghizer River particularly Gupis and Phader River are the hub of Trout Fish in District Ghizer. In 1917 the Trout Fish were introduces in Hundarap Lake in District Ghizer. Hundarap Lake is considered the home of Trout Fish in Ghizer. A Tourists interested in sightseeing may enjoy the fresh water Fish Angling in Distrit Ghizer particularly in Gupis and Phander Rever.   Although the trout have several kinds but in Ghizer only brown and rainbow trout is exists.
